2014 NFL Draft First Round Grades: Dallas Cowboys

16th Overall Pick: Zack Martin, OT/G, Notre Dame

Cowboys fans don't seem too pleased with pleased with this pick, but I think this is one of the better picks Jerry has made. Martin could have gone up to 5 picks earlier so this is great value, and Martin also fills a position of need for Dallas. However, Dallas needs help on defense and they need it bad. I didn't predict anything but defense to Dallas because it's just so terrible. I like the player, but the defense loses out on desperately needed help here.

  3. here we go again. dead last in the league on defense and jerry goes out and gets an OL. We cant protect a 28 pt lead but yet he has to go and get someone to protect Romo. Really!!! More like protect Jerrys ego!

  5. The offense better score 48 points a game. That defense couldn't stop my 83 year old mom.

  8. Romo did not hurt his back by getting hit. He hurt his back because he is not tough enough to play this sport. He has no leadership skills which is why his team cannot win games when it counts. Last year I could have gone 10-6 with that weak ass schedule. Danny White was good but not good enough to win the big ones but he went to the playoffs, at least while Romo and Garriet do everything to keep us out of the playoffs. Playing conservative is what has gotten the cowboys the title of "The Masters of Mediocrity" and drafting that way will too. How much stronger can the offense get? Drafting defense, RB or QB makes the most since, but I forgot jerry doesn't have since he has dollars.
