2014 NFL Team Needs: Buffalo Bills

1. Linebacker: Kiko Alonso was one of the best rookie defenders in the NFL, but Buffalo needs someone else to pair with him to stuff the run. They need a linebacker who can play inside with Kiko in the 3-4 set, as well as play weakside linebacker in the 4-3 set.

2. Tight End: Scott Chandler was actually Buffalo's leading receiver this season, but the Bills can do better at tight end. A replacement will obviously be needed if Chandler walks, but they could also use someone to pair with Chandler if he is retained.

3. Offensive Guard: The left guard position was a mess this season, as Andy Levitre was sorely missed. Buffalo needs to bring in a new starter either through free agency, or via a day two draft selection.

4. Right Tackle: Erik Pears isn't terrible at right tackle, but he isn't very impressive either. There is a good chance he will be cut due to his high salary. Chris Hairston, a young tackle with a lot of potential, would be slated to start, but he's a serious injury concern. The Bills have a lot of thinking to do at this position.

5. Wide Receiver: Stevie Johnson had a down year, but I still think he can be a #1 target while Woods is a solid number 2. However, they need some size at the position, as the current receiving core is very small and injury prone.

6. Safety: Aaron Williams thrived in his move from cornerback to safety this year, but Jairus Byrd is a free agent. It looks doubtful that he will return, but the Bills will still try to sign him to an extension. Rookie Duke Williams and Da'Norris Searcy would be slated to battle for the open spot if Byrd leaves, so Buffalo may want an upgrade over those two.

7. Cornerback: The Bills are very thin at cornerback, and tend to plagued with injuries at this position on a yearly basis. Buffalo consistently struggles to find fill ins.

8. Defensive End: The Bills had a ferocious pass rush this season, but could still use some depth behind their starters.
