FINAL SCORE: 30-9
GAME MVP: Ravens D/ST
ANALYSIS: This game was a battle of defense, as both offenses only mustered up a handful of field goals, save for a Bernard Pierce touchdown run in the third quarter. The difference maker in this game was the Baltimore defense and special teams, which accounted for 2 of the games' 3 touchdowns. Both quarterbacks looked pretty mediocre and neither running game ever picked up too much steam. Flacco didn't have too much time to get the ball out, as Houston's defense recorded a solid 7 QB hits and 3 sacks. What's important to take away from this game is that Baltimore's defense might finally be coming together, and could still be a top 10 stop unit in the NFL. Week one against the Bronco's shouldn't repeat itself again this season. Houston, meanwhile, needs to start getting some better production out of the offense, especially early on in games. Matt Schaub needs to step up big time, which is going to be very hard if Johnson misses any time. Hopefully, he will be ready for action next week.
