NFL Week 3 Wrap Ups: Bears over Steelers

def.

FINAL SCORE: 40-23

GAME MVP: Bears Defense ( 5 turnovers, 2 TDs )

ANALYSIS: The Steelers started to make it a close game going into halftime and through the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Chicago's defense was dominant to start and to end the game. They forced 5 turnovers including two returned for touchdowns. Aside from Big Ben's great connection with receiver Antonio Brown throughout the game ( 196 yards, 2 TDs ), the Steelers quarterback was very ineffective. He was getting pressured all night which resulted in 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions. The Bears defense did give up a few big plays and some scores, but seemed to force a turnover on every other possession. With play makers like Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall on offense, you're going to win if you give them 5 turnovers. At 3-0 now the Bears have a great head start in the divisional race and look as strong as ever. The Steelers, meanwhile, are now off to their worst start in recent memory, and will have a very long road back to contention.
