Team Analysis

The Texans are once again the favorite to win the AFC South. The Colts will provide the only competition, as Tennessee still doesn't have a quarterback and Jacksonville is, well, Jacksonville. Barring any major injuries, the offense will be much improved from last year thanks to the addition of DeAndre Hopkins. He finally provides a #2 wideout for Schaub to work with. This is the year for Schaub to prove he can make the Texans superbowl contenders. If he can't, it's time for Houston to look at another option in this years' insanely deep quarterback class. The pressure is completely on Schaub this year, as the defense is set to be a dominate force. My only question on the defensive side of the ball is the secondary, specifically safety. Ed Reed needs to get healthy or second round selection D.J. Swearinger will be thrust into the starting lineup a year too soon. Still, Schaub's performance this season will decide how deep Houston goes in the playoffs.

Projected Wins

10-12
