2013 NFL Draft Team Needs: Seattle Seahawks

1. Right Tackle: Breno Giacomini is probably the biggest liability this team has. He needs to be upgraded. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Seahawks use their second round pick on his replacement, even if they have to trade up.

2. Outside Linebacker: This is the only other true need the Seahawks have, the other needs listed are more of a luxury. Leroy Hill remains unsigned, so his spot needs to be filled. They may be able to fix this problem internally, but a mid round pick should be used to fill the roster void.

3. Tight End: Now begins the luxury upgrades for Seattle. Zach Miller is a decent TE, but he's nothing amazing. At the very least, they could use someone to pair with him. The draft has a ton of talent at TE in the middle rounds, so they will probably have their pick of one in the third or fourth round.

4. Offensive Guard: Carpender and McQuistan are passable starters, but could certainly be upgraded. They could also use more depth behind Carpender due to his injury history. Maybe Giacomini could be moved inside if they find an upgrade for him as well.

5. Quarterback: Wilson is the unquestionable starter, but the current backup is Brady Quinn. No team should feel comfortable if Brady Quinn has to take any snaps for them. Seattle should look into a developmental quarterback who can challenge Quinn for backup duties.

  1. Alabama's center would be a great #2 pick....
he can play [very well] all three o-line positions making him able to fill alot of holes right know.

  2. Portis is a developmental QB who can hold down the #2 QB spot. Dr. Quinn (Medicine Quarterback) is perfect at #3.
